SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONALS BRACKET

An impressive 2025 West Los Angeles College women's soccer season will now continue into the postseason. On Sunday, the Wildcats received the No. 22 seed for the upcoming Southern California Regional Playoffs.

West LA will travel to No. 12-seed Golden West College in Huntington Beach for an opening-round playoff game on Wednesday (Nov. 19) at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices for the 3C2A postseason game at the Golden West College Soccer Complex are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. Tickets will not be sold at the gate and must be purchased online. Tickets are available online in advance at the GWC Tickets Page.

The Wildcats are making their first playoff appearance under second-year head coach Stephanie Banuelos-Valencia. West LA will take a 7-7-7 overall record into Wednesday's game. The Wildcats recently closed out the regular season with a 5-5-4 mark in the Western State Conference South Division for fifth place.

No. 12 Golden West enters the postseason with an 11-4-6 overall record while the Rustlers finished in fifth place in the Orange Empire Conference at 5-4-5.

West LA and Golden West will be meeting for the first time this season. The winner of the opening-round game will advance to face No. 5 College of the Canyons (15-3-2) on Saturday (Nov. 22) for a second-round game in Santa Clarita.

Four wins are needed by the Wildcats to advance to the 2025 3C2A State Championships on Dec. 5 & 7 at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
